Early Literacy Idea

Have your child write “ing” words and have him/her read them to you.  (sing, king, ring, spring, thing)

Remember our reading goal is 15 minutes a night/five nights a week.  Please read to your child and have him/her read to you!  This is so important!  Thanks for all you do!

News

         Just a reminder to please continue to keep track of your child’s reading minutes on the calendar provided on the light purple paper and have them bring their complete calendar to the Cedar Middle School on Saturday, April 28^th. While supplies last, each student who brings their complete calendar will select a prize.  The school with the most participation will receive other prizes and cash awards.  We encourage all to participate!

         

         I also want to let you know so you can plan ahead that our End of Year Kindergarten Program will be held on Wednesday, May 9^th at 6:00 PM in the school gym.  This will be for ALL kindergarten students!  We will combine both AM and PM classes.  Thank you for your support!
