Idea
Have
your child tell you the two sounds each vowel can make. (For example: the short /a/ sound as in apple
and the long /a/ sound as in ape).
Remember our reading goal is 15
minutes a night/five nights a week.
Please read to your child and have him/her read to you! This is so important! Thanks for all you do!
News
We are
excited to present the Kindergarten program on May 9th. Please mark this day on your calendars. The students need to be in Sunday dress and
meet in the school library at 5:45. Both
AM and PM classes will be performing together.
Just
another head’s up--The last day of school is Wednesday, May 23rd. All students will get to meet their first
grade teacher for next year on this day.
In order for this to happen, we need all students to attend the
morning session of kindergarten including those who normally attend the PM
class. We will meet from 8:50-10:50. There is no Extended Day Kindergarten on this
day.
