Make up clapping games using rhymes that repeat a
specific word family: Miss Mary Mack,
All dressed in black, had silver buttons all down her back. She took her lunch from a paper sack,
but saw a bug and gave it a whack!
NEWS
I wanted to make you aware that
the last day for the take home library books to be returned to the school is on
Thursday, May 9th. The last
day for the regular library books to be returned is on Thursday, May 2nd. This will allow the ladies to take inventory
on the books, but please continue to have your child read to you and you read
to them with supplemental books of your own or from the public library. THANK YOU!!
Our class will be doing our
kindergarten program on Wednesday, May 22nd. Please mark your calendars now for this
important event! Please have your child
wear church clothes for our performances, which will be held in the school gym at
10:00 AM for morning students, and 12:30 PM for afternoon students.
The last day of school is
Friday, May 24th. All
students get to meet their first grade teacher for next year on this day. In order for this to happen, we need all
students to attend the morning session of kindergarten (including those who
normally attend the PM class). We will
meet from 8:50-10:50 for that day.
Extended day kindergarten will not be held on the last day of school.
