Thursday, Oct. 9—Picture Retake Day—If you paid for pictures and are not satisfied, just send the entire picture packet back to school with your child on Oct. 9^th for a retake.  Or, if you missed pictures the first time, you can either pay on line or send a check with your child.

As you read, point to words to show left to right, spaces between words, and word patterns.

        We are having a great time learning and I am enjoying each one of your children.  Every one of them has something special to contribute to our class! 

          

          Thanks for reading with your child at home!  Reading aloud is fundamental to his/her learning to read and being excited about it.  Please continue to read daily (five nights a week) with your child for at least 15 minutes.  Please send back the September reading calendar by Monday for a free pizza certificate. 

         

           We will work on the letters Mm, Nn, Oo this week.  We have learned the following sight words:  me, see, I, can, like, look.  Some of our math vocabulary includes: matching, more, fewer, one, two, three, four, five.
