News
It is hard to believe that
December is already here! It is an
exciting time of the year with lots of stories about fun Christmas traditions,
Santa, elves and wish lists being shared!
We will continue to make learning a priority and once again appreciate your
support at home.
Your
child should be able to read the following sight words: me, see, I, can, like, look, here, go, the,
run, up, this. We will learn “to” and
“is” this week. Most of these words are
not spelled phonetically so they have to memorize them. However, the students are getting really good
at segmenting sounds and blending those sounds together to make words, which is
important to know as well.
We have
lots of items in the Lost and Found that is located next to the school
lunchroom. If you are missing any items,
please check there. Also, it is really
helpful if you label your children’s coats, jackets, backpacks etc. in case
some have the same items. Thanks so
much!
Have a
wonderful week!
