News
Thank you for your continued
support at home! It is great that the
homework and reading books come back consistently. You are wonderful parents. It is exciting to see the progress your
children are making.
We will
continue to work hard at school and learn important foundational skills that
will help the students throughout their educational experiences. The students understand that written letters
and spoken sounds go hand in hand in learning how to read. They can figure out the number that makes 10
from any given number 1 through 9 as well as count forward beginning from a
given number within the sequence (instead of having to begin at 1). They can make a scientific hypothesis and
determine what the reasoning is behind their prediction. These are just a few
of the experiences we are having in our classroom. Thank you for sharing your children with
me! They are a delight!
If you
would like to send a box of crackers with your child for a snack to share with
our class, that would be great. Of
course, this is optional!
