News
It is exciting to see the
progress that each student is making in kindergarten! Your support at home is greatly appreciated!
In
math, we are focusing on subtraction, recognizing and writing numerals 11-20,
and our new vocabulary word—minus. The
students are becoming more comfortable figuring out story problems and using
number pairs in mathematical equations.
We
are almost finished with our DIBELS testing and a paper will be sent home
shortly. I wish I could meet with each of you individually to better explain
the results instead of waiting for SEP’s which are coming up beginning the week
of March 2nd. In the
meantime, please feel free to call with any questions or concerns. The
KINDERGRADER test will be administered beginning next week. It will take a couple of weeks to get every
student tested.
Have
a wonderful week and thank you again for all you do!
