Early Literacy Idea
Encourage your child to write a “story” (one or two sentences).  Look for a capital at the beginning, spaces in between words, and a period at the end.

News
This week we will learn about the December holidays celebrated in various cultures and celebrate the diversity of holiday traditions observed around the world.
Please have your child practice writing his/her last name.  This is one of the requirements for our Kindergarten Assessment coming up in January.  We will work on last names in our class also, but if you reinforce it at home, it is much easier for the students.
If you are missing coats, jackets, or other items from home, please check the Lost and Found at the school.
I hope your week is fabulous!  Thank you for your support!  Please contact me with any questions or concerns!
