Enjoy your Summer!  Be sure to read lots of great books and write many fun stories with your child!  Have fun doing math activities too!

Wow, I can’t believe the school year is almost over!  I have loved the opportunity to teach your children!  Thank you for making it such a rewarding, positive experience!
Since the weather has been so unpredictable lately, we have games planned for inside and outside for the students on Field Day.  We will wait and see what is happening and then go from there!  The same plan is for the picnic on Tuesday.  It will be fun either way.  Please send a sack lunch with your child on that day.

ANOTHER IMPORTANT REMINDER—on the last day of school, both morning and afternoon classes will meet from 8:50-10:40.  We do this in order to allow all students the chance to meet with their 1st grade teachers. The buses will not be running for the PM students, but will take the AM students home as usual.  If your child is in the PM class, please pick him/her up from our classroom.  The AM class members who do not ride the bus will meet parents upstairs just like usual.  There is no Extended Day on that day. We appreciate you changing your schedules accordingly.
THANK YOU AGAIN FOR A WONDERFUL YEAR!

The last week of Centers is May 16-20.  THANKS SO MUCH for those who have helped so faithfully this year!  I could not have done it without you!

Congratulations to all of the students for a wonderful job on our program!  AND a huge thank-you to all of the parents for your support in your child’s education!

Remember all books need to be returned to the school ASAP.  There is a fine for books that are lost or not returned.  The school librarian and the Take Home Library aides will be sending a note home reminding you of any books that have not be returned.

On Field Day, please put sunscreen on your children and dress them according to the weather.  We will be outside most of the day.

We will have a picnic at the school on Tuesday, May 24th.  Please send a sack lunch with your child on that day. Because of budget cuts, this will take the place of our picnic at Park Discovery.
